Welcome to Gewalthaufen!

Welcome. This blog is to feature the metamorphosis of my 28mm Swiss army based around the period now known as the Burgundian Wars. You should be able to watch the army grow into something that will (hopefully) look great on the tabletop as well as pick up a bit of Medieval history here and there.

  1. Very jealous you have the time to start this. As you know, I've wanted to do the Swiss for some time, but just too many projects in the cue to start. Until I can, then I'll just have to experience it through your blog.

  6. I see what you mean about the scots, it's a good idea but in terms of display games, there's not a lot of scope to re-enact much other than Flodden, that and my Tudors would annihilate them!

Good luck with this venture, i'm sure it will be an inspiration to many.

    All the best
