Thanks to one of the chaps on the Lance and Longbow Society Forum, Martin, I've made a bit of a discovery. There was very large cartoon by John Welding featuring the Battle of Wakefield during the Wars of the Roses that featured at the International Medieval Conference which is now in Wakefield Museum in a display called ‘Battle of Wakefield 1460’.
I've actually found a link to the cartoon and you can see it in all it's amusing glory HERE.
Hopefully you enjoy it as much as I did, here's a taster:
Just taken from The Miniatures Page- definately out for Salute:
Cottage should be usefull from 1300-1600 plus with the addition of the smoke hood. Looks splendid and as it's plastic it is opens up the possibilities as far as conversions go. A real surprise to see this cottage released.
Possibly out for Salute (and god knows how much I hope that the little critters are finally released!)-
Fab cover art and it'll be great to have the choice of going with German or Milanese style armours/barding.
